A great Christmas

So far we have only had Christmas with one side of the family (having our celebration this weekend with the other two sets of grandparents!), but it was great! Brennan stayed up WAY too late on Christmas eve (actually, during the entire trip, but whatever!) playing with his cousins. He was the first one up Christmas morning, despite the fact that he had no idea Santa came, nor did he seem to care. He got lots of great gifts - photos coming soon - including a really cool Jungle theme teepee and lots of Elmo stuff. But what was Brennan's favorite thing to play with all week long? The singing/rapping bear of his grandmother's - over and over and over we had to press the bear's hand and listen to him rap Christmas songs and dance. Brennan was in heaven. The rest of us were annoyed.

While at my in-laws, Brennan slept in a toddler bed and did great - he fell out once, but was fine. We made it thru the week without too much dairy sneaking in as well either - which was good, though we weren't perfect! We had a great time overall - fun hanging out with new cousin Cooper, not to mention running around with the other 8 cousins - it was crazy, chaotic, and really fun! I was worried that B would not want to go to bed last night once we were home b/c he had stayed up so late every night, but he was asleep by 7:30pm eastern (6:30 central which is the time zone we had been in!). Wow!

Counting down till Santa arrives

Actually, we really aren't. Brennan has no idea santa exists, and as you saw in his santa pic, really isn't that in to him (like the book is called, He's just not that in to you!" LOL). But, we are looking forward to Christmas. Like last year, PJ and I opted not to get anything for B this year b/c his grandparents love to spoil him, but then PJ had guilt about it and bought him a new boat for the bathtub along with a new Christmas outfit. Sweet daddy. We are looking forward to time with the WHOLE family- especially Brennan's cousins - he will be in heaven!

Going to pick up a book today at the library called, Mothering your Nursing Toddler - I cannot wait to read it- I just know it will help me thru what I am now realizing as a difficult time as I sometimes feel like I am the only one out there nursing a toddler. I know that I am not (Maria, Laura, Crystal), but it can feel very alone to be nursing at this age, though we have no plans to stop. In fact, what I thought was a reduction of nursing a few weeks ago (when I was sick) has actually turned in to an increase in nursing - I keep trying to get Brennan to do the sign for milk/nurse, but more often when he wants to nurse, he starts/tries to lift up my shirt (which I think is adorable, though I swore I would never have a child that did that!) and makes this MmmmmMMmmmMmmm noise. I love our nursing relationship - interested to see what happens as my belly gets bigger! Maybe it is time for me to start making a concerted effort to attend the monthly La Leche League meetings as well - once a month on a Monday night, I can swing it!

Chrstmas Party

Last night our daycare had a Christmas party - the kids stayed for dinner and bath, then Santa came!

A little update

So I am not sure if B is getting sick or if he is starting to get in to the "I won't eat anything but...." stage. His appetite has decreased TONS - my little boy who used to eat ANYTHING we put in front of him would only eat peas for dinner the last two nights (okay, good problem to have I realize, but seriously, who wants to just eat peas?!). And of course, anything that has PB on it is a hit - so of course we have TONS of those PB snack crackers around. And milk - my boy LOVES LOVES LOVES milk (we moved from soy to the lactaid which is lactose free whole milk - much much better and better tasting!).

Nursing has been interesting lately - I posted about it on my other blog - though I think we are on the up and up -

Good so far...

So after I left work on Wed, as we were driving to STL, I had an opportunity to talk to the dr again - I had so many questions! He really just wanted us to focus on cutting out dairy in terms of milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.... but wasn't so concerned with items that were made with dairy. He felt like there was such a small amount in things like bread and pasta, that for now, we could just start with the big things. He said the same thing about my breastmilk - thank goodness. I cannot imagine giving up dairy (how selfish of me!), but would if need be. Almost immediately we noticed a difference - what a relief! He took to soy milk without a problem either - just drank it down (I tried it and am not such a fan, though maybe I am just being biased!). For Thanksgiving, we made him special mashed potatoes and stuffing made with soy milk so he could enjoy everything like the rest of us! Though his favorite thing of the day was cranberries!

We had so much fun in STL for the Thanksgiving holiday with the family. Probably the funniest thing was when we went to the zoo Friday and Brennan would point at every animal and say (and subsequently yell) GOG - GOG - GOG - GOG (his word for Dog - though obviously every animal is a GOG!). He also got really good at Hi and Bye this weekend, including the entire arm wave (forget just waving his hand - both arms at the same time are even better!). Yesterday we went to the grocery store and every person he passed he would announce Hi or Bye over and over and over and over again. They would laugh and respond appropriately. Too cute.

Milk Intolerance?

So for the past few weeks B has had fairly severe chronic diareah, not fun. I had deduced that it was some kind of intolerance and we finally made it in to the dr yesterday. He wants us to start by cutting out all dairy from his diet. Honestly, I thought he would ask me to start with wheat, so I wasn't prepared for dairy and didn't even know what to ask yesterday! He wants us to start with no diary for three weeks. If that doesn't take care of it, we are going to move on to wheat/gluten products.

Have you ever thought about what includes dairy? Okay - let's start with the obvious - milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream. But what about pasta and bread and EVERYTHING that we eat!!!!!!! I left a msg for the dr today to call me b/c I want to know - should I cut out EVERYTHING that includes lactose or just straight dairy? And what about the fact that I am still breastfeeding (and had pizza last night and yogury smoothie this morning and LOVE LOVE LOVE milk?!) - does that affect him? Do I need to cut out dairy from my diet or wean him (I hope not to both questions! But I would rather reduce dairy than wean).

I have been trying to do some research about milk intolerance online - there is a lot of information out there but it is also confusing. I am hoping that if it is a dairy intolerance and if we do cut out all milk products for a few weeks, that we can reintroduce some things - how much would life suck if B could not eat my mom's pie crust? Or homemade cookies? Or spaghetti with meatballs?

not to mention that with Thanksgiving tomorrow, this is not really a great time, but that is a selfish statement and I will do anything for little B. Deb is going to make him mashed taters with soy milk which will be nice. At least we ran out of the breastmilk supply this week too so we don't have to worry about pitching anything leftover.

Oh - and quick sleep update - yeah......the sleeping thru the night thing lasted Sat, Sun, Mon and that's it. :) Last night he was up at midnight, 3, 5, 6.....we started nursing at 5am...oh little man, my little man - sleep will come someday...

Thanksgiving is almost here

So excited for Thanksgiving! We are headed to the lou tomorrow for time with the family - YAY! I want to stuff myself with Turkey and Mashed potatoes - yum yum. B-Man can't wait to eat up all the Turkey Day goodness either!

And yet another sleep update

This weekend was interesting.....
PJ was gone Friday night, so I just went to bed early and Brennan came straight to bed with me. And guess what, he didn't wake up until about 4:30am for a nursing session (that is the earliest I will nurse him now).

Sat night - he took a late PM nap so went to bed late. Same deal as Friday.

I was curious - what would happen Sunday night when we were back on a normal schedule and routine vs starting the night in my bed. Would he wake up around midnight like usual to snuggle with mommy? Or would he sleep longer? Maybe even until 4;30am?

Low and behold - I woke up with a start at 1am - no cries from B's room - and I was so tempted to go get him b/c of course my mind is going crazy - what if something is wrong, what if he fell out of his crib, what if what if what if - but I realistically knew things were fine and I fell back asleep. Then like clockwork - 4:30am hit and the cries came - so B came to nurse and snuggle with me until we got up at 645am! Will this continue?

Now - if only I could curb the 4:30am snacktime........one thing at a time though - just one thing at a time.....

Friday, November 21, 2008

And then not so much

Should I even wish for more than 1 good night in a row? Last night was miserable - lots of crying. lots.

Thursday, November 20, 2008

A good night's sleep

Last night was heavenly! Brennan went to bed, woke up to come sleep in bed with me, easily fell back asleep, and slept until 4:30am - miracle, especially considering the two previous nights were not so fun......

New Playroom and New Sleep Plan

We finally got our playroom up to speed - check it out!

So a few months ago, I stumbled across an article called, "Changing the Sleep Pattern in the Family Bed" and it caught my attention b/c it really spoke to me and sounded like our situation! Don't get me wrong, I love having Brennan sleep with us (more like me!), but I was getting tired of the 24 hour nursing buffett - it didn't keep me up, as it is really easy to roll over and "offer", but as I looked in to the future, I just knew it needed to stop. I knew that B-man didn't need to eat all night and that he was old enough for the process of self-soothing to start taking place. So I waited until we were not going to be travelling or having guests for a while, and committed to the plan.
Nights 1-3 - those were rough. He was pissed when I pulled him off before he fell asleep. It was hard for me too b/c it meant being awake much more at night.....
Nights 4-6 - yikes, not much better. He hated me walking him around and the 1st two nights of this part, it took over an hour in the middle of the night to get him back to sleep, let alone me! He was fighting being in my arms.
Nights 7+ - this is where we are now. Sat night was the best night of all - I just let him cry next to me in the middle of the night, but offered a hand for soothing, and he quickly fell asleep. Last night, not so much.....he was struggling to stay asleep.
The thing I really like about this plan is that I am not banned from nursing him - I just have committed to no nursing during a 7 hour stretch - but anytime before or after that, I am free to do what we both want/prefer. It ends up being more than 7 hours (my 7 hour stretch is 10pm-5am) and Brennan tends not to wake up before 10pm, so really it ends up being more like a 10 hour stretch for him - 7:30-5am - and he is fine.
A key for us is having a sippy cup of water next to the bed for his middle of the night wake up - he does seem thirsty and it seems to calm him down to be able to take a few sips.
Hopefully this will be a good plan overall - I am happy so far! And Brennan still wakes up and likes to love on his mommy, so the pissed off phase in the middle of the night, sure doesn't last!
NOTE - this plan is for babies who are at least OVER 12 months old!

Finding Nemo!

Brennan had a great Halloween this year - he was Nemo! We had a party at daycare and then went to a few houses around the neighborhood - it was so fun. The only downfall, little man was sick all weekend. Even stayed home Monday and Tuesday! But that's okay - he got full election covererage and is so excited about Obama!

Such a funny guy

We got B's Haircut this weekend @ Cookie Cutters (not going back though - yucky and dirty!) but good haircut!

I think he looks SOOO cute - so much more like a little boy than a baby. My goodness, I hardly recognized him!

So it was soo funny last night - Brennan and I were hanging out in his room b/c PJ had a colleague over and they were working on a case. Anyway, we were listening to Raffi and B was just enthralled with the cd player - and then he started dancing. OMG - it was the cutest, funniest thing in the world. He was sitting on the ground, facing the CD player and just bouncing (not really with the rythm, but close) - and then he would sway his head from side to side and shoulder to shoulder. I just laughed. And when I said, Brennan DANCE - he would start all over again. Just looking at the CD player made him dance even when no music was playing. Tooo cute.

Cooper and Standing

I'm Mad (and standing!).

Check out my new cousin Cooper - I liked to touch (maybe too hard) him though mostly ignored him except when mom held him, then I got jealous.

We had a great trip to Ft. Worth to visit Aunt Jessie, Uncle Bryan, Uncle Nick, Katie, and new cousin Cooper. I even got to meet Dad's friend Corbin which was so fun. I walked all weekend and looked like a drunken sailor while doing so. Of course, no one could keep me off the stairs - I would make a run for it as soon as mom turned her head.

3 nights without!

I am leaving for Chicago today - returning Saturday. Without little B-Man! Time for major bonding with daddy and B. And while I know they will be fine, I am still nervous and already miss him! Little B and I sleep side by side @ night - which is full of little nursing bits here and there. What will the next three nights be like for both of us? For me - well, uninterrupted sleep (though why do I have the feeling that I will still wake up?!) and some dreaded pumping sessions. For B and P.....well, I guess we'll see. I actully think it might encourage longer sleeping stretches for B-man, though tonight, not so much.

I left a note with some tips for P, and he rolled his eyes and was like - KYLE, seriously, I am his dad - I know what to do! And I was like, yeah I know you know, but do you really know all the little things that I always do? Though, if he didn't know, would it matter? No - they'll do it their B-P way regardless of what I say, think, etc........

Okay - here goes!!!!!!

Double wide?

So we went to the shoe store to try some on B's feed. Okay - seriously, is it necessary to spend $50 on a pair of shoes for a baby?!!!!! So we didn't - we are sticking with robeez for now, and are going to wait until he starts walking. But i am shocked at the cost for a good pair of shoes - okay, I'll spend more than that on me, but I don't grow out of them anymore!!!!!! And wear them forever!!!!!!! (or once - whatever!).

When the lady measured his feet (while he was napping in my arms) - she commented that he was a size 4.5-5 double wide! So narrow feet in this family! Double Wide?! Double Wide!!!!!!!! It just makes me laugh - he must have gotten his foot size from a pregnant me - when my feet were triple wide and only a comfy pair of crocs would work!

Brushing his teeth

So Brennan went from refusing to even have the toothbrush in his mouth to letting me brush his 4 teeth to now doing it himself (kinda). It is SOOOO cute! We brushed our teeth together this morning (of course, then he wanted my toothbrush).

And he waved at me yesterday - it was the first time he had done that! So cute!

Brennan is really excited to share the news that his cousin was born yesterday - Cooper Robert - born on Sept 17th @ 7am - 7.4 lb and 19 inches long. Mom and Cooper are great! We can't wait to visit in October!

12 month well-child check up

So here are B's most recent stats:
31 inches long (75% percentile)
22.7 pounds (50% percentile)
And his head is growing nicely too. :)
So he is a long skinny boy - who ate an entire piece of homemade pizza last night for dinner (that is a lot for a little one!).

Dr thinks he is growing well - he is doing what he should. We talked about our favorite topic - sleeping :) and are again making some changes which I will discuss at a later time depending on how things go and how we opt to proceed. PJ and I were both at the visit (how great is my husband that he opts to attend all of the well-child visits?!).

Dr. K thinks that Brennan had cocksackie virus a few weeks ago and was shocked when I told him we had to go to Urgent Care b/c we couldn't get in to see them - which is totally not their policy. Oh well. Next time I was instructed to ask to talk to our nurse directly so she could squeeze us in. I LOVE our doc!

We also talked about walking/crawling. I guess I have been hoping Brennan would have walked by now - he crawled at 7 mos - but as Dr. K pointed out, the earliest crawlers, especially those that are overly effective crawlers (LIke fast moving B-Man!) are not early walkers - makes sense! Though he took 1 step yesterday toward me while we were in the waiting room - I cheered very loudly!

Sick baby

So little b-man is sick. Fever started Tuesday after his pm nap and spikes whenever the tylenol or motrin wears off. He is nursing lots and drinking juice, so that is good. Not so interested in eating, which is not surprising. We took him to the dr this morning since it had been over 36 hours with a fever (it is hovering between 100-102). He was not overly concerned since he is taking in liquids and has wet diapers. He checked his ears, throat, and looked him over - just thinks it is a virus, but asked us to keep watching him (obviously). He mentioned he could break out in a rash when the fever breaks or it could end up being an ear infection, but as of this morning, it was just a fever with no other symptoms. We are glad about that, though it is hard to see the little guy not feeling well. He wants us to hold him and he just kinda hangs out - yesterday he played a lot - today not so much.

His big birthday bash is Sunday, so good we'll hope all is well sooner rather than later!

Playing Ball

So our new fun game is playing with the ball. I am not sure if Brennan realizes it, or maybe he does, but he likes to "throw" the ball at us! We sat in a circle tonight and bounced the big red bouncy ball around. Brennan was lift it high up and then RELEASE! And it would come toward me and I would throw it to PJ and he would roll it to Brennan and then we would start over. It was so cute. I noticed it for the first time the other night when he was playing with a little ball and he would throw it at me, and when I passed it back, he kept tossing it to me. I love it - such a little athlete!

Good Weekend!

Such a fun weekend -
Went to a first birthday party - alll B wanted to do was eat tamales and climb up the hill then scoot down! Then he volunttered w/ mom at the "Lactation Station" @ the state fair. Dad met us after our shift and we enjoyed seeing the horses, pigs, and sheep. B-man was totally into it! Of course he loved the funnel cake!

My first haircut

Last night mom and dad trimmed my hair - it was about time! My bangs were in my eyes and finally we all had enough. They didn't want to pay for a haircut this time, so we tried it at home. I was a wiggly worm, as usual - and mom and dad spent over an hour trying to trim my bangs - from the bathtub to my crib to someone holding me to sitting on the floor - we sang songs, recited books, and tried to keep me still. No such luck. Mom did a little more in the tub tonight. They did a great job on my first cut - maybe next time they'll take me somewhere...

Taking steps soon

Brennan will be walking soon - PJ saw him stand up without assistance last night - that is amazing! And now he can push his push toy all over the house while walking! I did finally decide that maybe wearing shoes more often should be the case, so he wears his Robeez to daycare now - which is good b/c they spend a lot of time outside and Brennan doesn't really like the feel of the grass, but he LOVES to crawl and stand and walk around and pick things up.

I can't believe he is going to be one in just a few weeks - where has the past year gone? We are going to have a little family party for him in Evansville - the STL crowd will be coming which is so wonderful. Mema is making Brennan his own little cake so that he can DESTROY it with his chubby little hands (chocolate of course - at least that's what Brennan requested!).

Our trip to Arkansas

Brennan, James, and Noah
Brennan and Luke
James, Brennan, and Luke
James, Luke, Noah, April, Kyle, Brennan
Luke, James, Brennan

Brennan and I took a little trip to see our friends in Arkansas this past week - it was so fun! We hung out with my BFF April and her three kids - Luke (4), James (almost 3), and Noah (3 months). Brennan wanted to do everything the older boys did and loved to try and poke Noah's face. Here are some pics! FYI - they all wear size 4 diapers - how funny considering the age differences (except Noah obviously!)!

Gog

Gack the Gog
The bruise has healed - just a little incident
Walking might happen soon!

Gog - that's b-man's new word! It means DOG! Over and over and over - he just looks at Tucker and says, "Gog". And last night on our walk, every time we saw a dog he would say GOG! Sometimes I think he is always trying to say Tucker - he calls him Gack. So it is Gack the Gog. Of course, he loves to say Hi - which is more like, AHHHHHH when you walk into a room and AHHHHH when you are leaving. Hi and Bye. So great. :)

Sleep update

I haven't posted about sleep in a while......

So I was really excited about the book - the no cry sleep solution and eagerly poured through it - did the sleep logs and everything. Even created a sleep plan. And. That's. As. Far. As. I. Got. :) I just didn't feel like I wanted to commit to it. I kept asking myself what the issue was - change? Time? Less sleep? And I concluded that while I want more sleep, I wasn't 100% sure I really wanted things to change.
Now - that being said, we (I) did start doing some things from our sleep plan:

  • I introduced a "lovey" though after two weeks, Brennan still won't have anything to do with it. He throws it when we nurse with it and also out of his crib. So much for that.
  • I moved bedtime 100% into his room - I used to red in his room and nurse on the couch (for lack of a comfortable seat in his room), but decided to change that. It takes a while, but it seems to help.
  • I have tried to change from nursing to sleep 100% of the time to only some of the time - this was easy. He is nursing less and nurses as part of the bed time routine, but almost always I walk/rock him to sleep
  • I thought we would try to get him into his crib all the time - who am I kidding? I don't want to! So we are starting in the crib and then mid-night, bringing him into our bed. It totally works! PJ and I are both good with it. And mornings are oh so fun with Mr. B. Not to mention, he sleeps better with us and longer with us! Who wouldn't love snugglin with mama and dada?
  • In the middle of the night, I am not always nursing and can sometimes pat to sleep or walk to sleep. Sometimes I just have to lay him back down and he is out!
Without doing a formal sleep log, last night went really well! He was 100% out (on his back - 1st time that's EVER happened in his crib!) by 7:45pm. Then woke up briefly at 9ish and I just needed to put him back into a horizontal position and he was fine. At about 10 he came to bed with me - nursed and didn't wake up again until after 3am - WHAT - AMAZING (and keep in mind, the experts say that a baby technically sleeps through the night when they sleep 5 hours in a row - YEAH FINALLY)!!!!!!! Nursed at 3am and again at 5am, up at 6:30am. YAY!!!!! I feel soooo refreshed today. I think this has been what has happened the past few nights, though I make a point not to count the # of times awake or look at the clock, so I could not be 100% sure. It helps that he is on a teething break for once.

Also - got my new baby ergo this weekend and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We walked last night and this morning. I put him on my back - it was great! So much better than a stroller and easier when walking with Tucker too. My back hurts a little today, but that's okay.

Aunt JJ and her shower

We had a great weekend - Gma and Gpa McCool came to visit and so did Aunt JJ and Uncle Bryan! It was soo fun. Mom had a baby shower for Aunt JJ and she got lots of cool stuff that I wanted to play with. Another girl was there, Anna, and we played, but when I grabbed her face, she started crying. I was confused. Mom thought it was priceless. We also went to 96th Street Steakburgers and I seriously ate almost my ENTIRE grilled cheese with pickles. I am a growing boy.
I think I made her cry...
Laughing after I finished my entire grilled cheese!

Rough but fun weekend - Happy 4th!

So little B had a kinda rough weekend - nless his heart. Well you know he is a pretty active baby (only stops moving when 100% asleep!) and he's been a maniac crawler for a few months now - started cruising recently - and now has taken up climbing! He went up quite a few stairs this weekend. Okay, but back to the point....

At daycare on Friday he was pulling up on a little chair - Sharon turned her back - he climbed on top - and then fell. We are not quite sure what happened exactly but he has quite the shiner on his cheek and really cut up his finger. Didn't really seem to bother him. Then on Saturday we was crawling and his hand slipped and he busted his lip on the floor. Not to mention those two top teeth are cutting through and his gums just look PAINFUL - very swollen and red - you can see the outline of the teeth through his gums. Bless his little heart.

We had a great 4th though - Brennan's friends from playgroup and a few others came by for an early BBQ in our backyard. Nothing like starting at 3:30 so all the babies can be home in their beds by 7:30! It was like Cinderella - the clock struck 7 and poof, everyone was gone. We got B to bed, yeah for him sleeping through fireworks, and enjoyed the evening in our backyard! It was great!

Sleep - well I haven't quite started the new sleep plan yet. I want to, I think......I figure that I better be absolutely SURE before I commit to something new. For the most part I have our plan figured out, but am just not ready. Brennan has moved back into our bed - and now that Tucker is out of our bed (yes all four of us used to attempt to sleep in our queen!), there seems to be a lot more space (makes sense - get rid of the 90 pound dog and the space that is there is amazing!), and Brennan is sleeping better in between us. I love having him sleep with us. Mornings with him in bed are hilarious. He starts waking up and he will situp - then throw his body over one of ours - then sit up again and repeat.....he nurses for a while and then all of a sudden...he POPS awake - and just sits there and pokes at our faces and talks - VERY LOUDLY mind you, he is NOT a quiet baby (hmmmmm......maybe he got that from his dad?! LOL!!!! JK). Anyway, I like how things are going so far...... we'll see what happens.

Looking forward to the weekend - having a baby shower for my sister-in-law - see her blog, it is super cute!

My mom turned 30!

How cute am I?
Mom (she's 30!) and me
Suitcase - so fun to play with cars in here!
The cows - whoa

Dear Friends,

My mom is OLD! She just turned 30!!!!!! LOL! Here are some pics from her birthday - we went to a dairy farm to eat lunch, have milkshakes, and look at the cows. We also went for a run and went to the Farmer's Market. Dad and I brought her breakfast in bed on Sunday and also gave her really good presents. We love mom!

Uh Uh Oh...

I love baths - especially getting water poured over my head! Splish Splash!

Me and Aunt JJ

Hi MeMa!

playing w/ Gaga
Me and Miles
Squirming w/ Grt gma and gpa Meyer
Me and gpa Hunt - so cozy

That's Brennan's new favorite phrase! His Aunt JJ taught it to him in Cali last week and we all say it ALL THE TIME now! It is seriously too cute!

Here are some recent pics of the B-Man - he sees MeMa in the window, loves cuddling with his Gpa Hunt, poses with Aunt JJ, hangs out with his Grt Grand Parents, smiles during bathtime, playing with my friend Miles, and a few others! Such a happy baby - how lucky am I? The luckiest mommy ever.

Sleep update - last night was AMAZING! I went to pilates, so PJ had to put him down and he was skepitcal, claiming, but I don't have boobs, so how will I get him to sleep? But guess what - he did - and easily. They went through our routine and by the end, Brennan just laid his head down on his daddy's chest and fell asleep. I imagine it was too cute. That was probably at about 7:30pm. Then he woke up at 9:30 to nurse, which made sense since he did not have his normal snack before bed. Then he woke up at 12:50 and 4:50. Are you kidding me - I feel so frickin refreshed today - wahoo! Of course at 5am he wanted to be awake so we laid on the couch together (see no bed still!) until 6:30 when I finally put him back in his crib and got ready while he was sleeping. Yes, yes, got ready WHILE HE WAS SLEEPING - did a miracle occur in my house last night? I think so. Daddy is putting Bman to bed more often!
