House Tour and more!

Here is a tour of our house - for those of you that have been asking - it is long...sorry! No, not because we have a big house - more like I talk a lot!
(update - removed link 3/31/08)

Brennan is doing great. Though sleeping is still a rough area for us. We have really been good (finally) about having a consistent bed time and bed time routine, though all that means is that getting to sleep the first time is easier. Staying asleep....not so much. I just wish I knew if it were teething that awoke him. He cries out and it sounds like he is in pain....so hard at times b/c he is hard to console. And often, Brennan ends up in our bed for the night - it is so much easier for me - less trips, easier to nurse, less crying for him, and we are just all cozy together - PJ, me, Brennan, and Tucker (of course!).

So yesterday Brennan was napping and all of a sudden let out a cry - I went in there to see what the deal was, and he was sitting up. A first! He is really advancing! He'll often throw himself onto his belly when sitting and now he can go back to sitting! And today he started really trying to pull himself up on my legs and on the crib. Yikes! Mema (my mom) was here for the past few days and she swears that if she were here a few more, she would have him crawling - he's getting close. Strong and determined little guy - that's for sure! All 18+ pounds of him (long baby too - he hardly fits into the "right" size clothing - is in 9-12 and 12-18 month onesies!).

Food is still going well. Introduced a sippy cup this week - he's not really into it, but will take a few sips. He loves to eat - zucchini, carrots, pears, apples, avocado, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes....you name it (except broccoli and peas - not such a fan). We even gave him a little chicken last night and he was ALL over it - loved it!

We start our new day care in a week - but not before Aunt Nae Nae comes for a visit! We can't wait!!!! Happy Easter!
